My flight back to L.A. was one of many thoughts. I thought of how warm and kind the Holley family is, how Buddy must have been the same. How everyone I met in Lubbock was "good people." I thought how grateful I was to have had the opportunity to do what I did. Everything I do associated with Buddy Holly is always a positive, uplifting occurrence. It's like Bill Griggs said, "Wherever you go, whenever you mention Buddy's name, it always gets the same reaction. Everybody smiles." Thank you, Buddy. The music will never die.
